Come celebrate the joy and freedom of being able to grow local food with the Community Crops program of Family Service Lincoln and some of our partner organizations that help us all keep growing!
About This Event
Join us at Gere Library Garden for our annual Garden Party. Stroll the community garden, share a meal with neighbors, and learn about the work taking shape across Lincoln’s growing spaces.
This is Community Crops’ favorite afternoon of the year. Gardeners, volunteers, and first-time visitors gathering around the beds to celebrate a season of growing together. Bring the whole family; kids are always welcome in the garden.
- Guided tours of the garden beds every half hour
- Seasonal snacks featuring produce grown by our gardeners
- Seed saving demonstrations and take-home starts
- Live acoustic music under the shade trees
The event is free and open to everyone. Registration helps us plan for food and materials, so please RSVP if you can.
