FiftyOne Commons
What we do
The FiftyOne Commons Campus and Program provides Northeast Lincoln with youth development opportunities, meaningful community spaces, and affordable housing.
How we do it
At the heart of this multi-acre development is an 11,500-square-foot community facility fully equipped with a high-tech youth makerspace, a multimedia studio, a computer learning lab, and a gymnasium.
Through close collaboration with local schools and nonprofits, we utilize this specialized STEAM Activity Center and its versatile community spaces to deliver weekend programs, interactive summer camps, and neighborhood-wide events. Anchored by an on-site community garden and affordable rowhouse rentals, the campus functions as a safe, welcoming space that fosters a healthier, more connected community for generations to come.
STEAM Activity Center
The Activity Center delivers youth programming focused on a STEAM curriculum. The facility features a youth makerspace, classroom, podcast studio, computer lab, recreation area, half-court gymnasium, outdoor play structure, and community garden.
Managed by a Campus Director, the Center hosts summer camps and non-school-day programs during Lincoln Public School closures.
In addition to youth programming, the Center serves as a vital neighborhood asset and a satellite office for FSL programs. The facility is also available for community rentals and partnership with local nonprofits. Stay tuned for an expanding calendar and programming menu!

Community Garden
The Community Crops Garden at FiftyOne Commons is a hub for demonstration gardening and education. The site features 12 traditional plots for local tenants and neighbors, alongside 6 raised demonstration beds and edible perennial landscaping.
