Helen Dougherty has served as the Program Director of Behavioral Health for Family Service Lincoln since 2022. She has spent more than 15 years supporting youth and families in the Lincoln community, focusing on expanding access to high-quality mental health care. Helen first joined Family Service Lincoln in 2010 as an intern and subsequently served the agency as a school-based therapist and assistant program coordinator.
Earlier in her career, Helen worked with area agencies providing residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This combination of clinical and administrative experience guides her leadership of the therapeutic team. In her director role, she focuses on fostering a collaborative environment for staff while strengthening mental health services to meet the evolving needs of area schools and families.
