Shayne Pearson has served as the Chief Operating Officer for Family Service Lincoln since 2021. He has spent over 15 years in the Lincoln, Nebraska nonprofit sector, developing a deep understanding of local community needs. Prior to joining Family Service Lincoln, Shayne spent nine years as the Director of Programs at The Bay, where he was instrumental in developing the organization's mission and supporting its initial launch.
A Certified Social Worker, Shayne holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Nonprofit Management. This training guides his management of agency operations and organizational advocacy. Outside of his executive duties, Shayne serves on the boards of two Lincoln nonprofits: Ybor Second Chance Kitchen (through Good Life Community Development) and the Prairie Roots Community Land Trust.
